The data controller for the data collected through this site is Salvatore Croce, reachable at salvatorecroceai@gmail.com.

What data we collect

Cookies and analytics (Google Analytics): only if you consent via the cookie banner. We collect browsing data in anonymised form (truncated IP). You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

Newsletter sign-up: if you submit the email form on the News page, your address is collected via Formspree and, upon successful sign-up, added to an email list (Brevo) to receive periodic updates. We do not share your email with third parties for purposes other than sending the newsletter.

Chat with MyAS (AI sommelier): messages you write in the chat are sent to Google Gemini to generate a reply. We do not store chat messages on our servers beyond the session; the exception is minimal technical logs needed for anti-abuse rate limiting, kept for up to one hour.

Legal basis and purpose

Processing is based on consent (analytics cookies, newsletter) or on our legitimate interest in ensuring the site works correctly (rate limiting, security). Data is not used for profiling or marketing purposes beyond what is described here.

Retention

Email addresses collected for the newsletter are kept until you unsubscribe (unsubscribe link in every email, or a direct request). Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default settings (14 months).

Your rights

You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability of your data, or object to processing, by writing to salvatorecroceai@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Third-party services used

Google Analytics (traffic analysis, consent-based only) · Formspree (email form collection) · Brevo (newsletter delivery) · Google Gemini (MyAS chat replies). Each service processes data according to its own privacy policy.
